One partner. A network of producers.
Adria Wood Partners is the timber export business of Promo Compact d.o.o., a Croatian company based in Samobor. We connect international buyers with selected sawmills and timber producers in Croatia and the wider region.
We don’t run our own mill. Instead, we build a network of producers who work to specifications we agree in advance, and we take responsibility for the whole chain, from the mill to your port.

European mills often have limited individual capacity and different standards. Working with several of them lets us deliver steady volumes without depending on any single one.

Quality checked at the source
You may never see the mill floor, so our standard travels with every order.
- 1Producer qualification. Capacity, grading practice, drying and steaming.
- 2Specification agreement. Grade rules, tolerances and moisture per quotation.
- 3Production check. Moisture, dimensions, steaming and grade.
- 4Pre-shipment inspection. Grade, packing and bundle marking, with photos.
- 5Loading and documents. Coordinated through the Port of Rijeka.
Why we ship through Rijeka
Rijeka is Croatia’s largest maritime port and a core TEN-T port on the Mediterranean Corridor. Its North Adriatic position makes it our natural deep-sea gateway from Central Europe to Mediterranean, North African and Gulf markets.
